Description
The Furutech Monza LP Stabilizer (Large) is a high-performance LP weight designed to optimize the playback quality of vinyl records by providing stability and reducing unwanted vibrations. Equipped with Furutech’s advanced piezo damping base and engineered for audiophiles, the Monza enhances the sound quality of turntables by ensuring smooth and accurate rotation, minimizing warps, and reducing resonance that can interfere with sound reproduction.
- LP Weight with Optimal Mass:
- The Monza LP Stabilizer is designed to apply just the right amount of pressure to the center of the record, ensuring that it sits perfectly flat on the platter. This helps to counteract any minor warping or imperfections in the vinyl, resulting in a more consistent, stable playback.
- The weight of the stabilizer is carefully calibrated to avoid putting too much strain on the turntable’s bearing and motor while still providing enough mass to improve the stability of the record during playback.
- Piezo Damping Base:
- The Monza features Furutech’s proprietary piezoelectric damping base, which is one of its standout features. This piezoelectric material helps to dampen mechanical vibrations by converting them into heat, thereby dissipating unwanted energy that could interfere with the turntable’s performance.
- The result is a significant reduction in resonances and micro-vibrations that can cause distortion or noise, ensuring a cleaner, clearer sound with improved resolution and detail.
- Non-Magnetic Stainless Steel and Carbon Fiber Construction:
- The body of the Monza LP Stabilizer is made from non-magnetic stainless steel with an upper layer of carbon fiber, both of which are known for their strength, durability, and vibration-damping properties.
- Carbon fiber not only adds a sleek, modern look to the stabilizer but also helps further minimize vibration and resonance, making it an ideal material for high-end audio accessories.
- Improved Sound Quality:
- By stabilizing the record and reducing unwanted vibrations, the Monza LP Stabilizer contributes to a noticeable improvement in sound quality. It helps produce tighter bass, a more focused midrange, and greater high-frequency detail, creating a more immersive and accurate listening experience.
- The stabilizer also helps to improve tracking by keeping the record flat, allowing the stylus to read the grooves with greater precision, which reduces distortion and improves overall sound reproduction.
- Easy to Use:
- The Monza LP Stabilizer is simple to use—just place it on the spindle in the center of the record before playback. Its ergonomic design makes it easy to handle, and its weight is perfectly balanced to provide effective stabilization without overburdening the turntable’s motor.
- It is compatible with most standard turntables and LPs, making it a versatile addition to any vinyl playback system.
Applications:
- High-End Vinyl Playback Systems:
- The Furutech Monza LP Stabilizer is designed for use in audiophile-grade vinyl playback systems where maintaining optimal playback conditions is essential for achieving the highest possible sound quality. Its vibration-damping and stabilizing effects help ensure that even the finest details of the music are accurately reproduced.
- Home Listening Rooms:
- For vinyl enthusiasts who want to get the most out of their records, the Monza LP Stabilizer is a valuable tool that enhances the listening experience by delivering clearer, more precise sound across all frequencies.
- Professional Audio Studios:
- In professional studio environments, where precise sound reproduction is critical, the Monza can help improve the accuracy of vinyl playback, making it an ideal accessory for vinyl mastering, archiving, or critical listening.
Benefits:
- Reduced Vibration and Resonance:
- The piezo damping base effectively reduces unwanted mechanical vibrations that can color the sound or introduce distortion. This leads to a more accurate playback with improved tonal balance and a quieter background.
- Enhanced Playback Stability:
- By keeping the record flat and stabilized, the Monza reduces wow and flutter, resulting in a smoother, more consistent playback with fewer speed variations and better tracking performance.
- Improved Sound Clarity and Dynamics:
- With reduced interference from vibrations and better tracking, users will notice an improvement in clarity, dynamics, and overall sound quality, making the Monza a worthwhile addition to any audiophile’s setup.
- Elegant and Durable Design:
- The combination of non-magnetic stainless steel and carbon fiber gives the Monza LP Stabilizer a stylish and durable design that not only performs well but also looks great on any turntable.
The Furutech Monza LP Stabilizer (Large) is a premium accessory for vinyl enthusiasts and audiophiles who are serious about getting the best sound quality from their records. With its piezo damping base, non-magnetic stainless steel and carbon fiber construction, and carefully balanced weight, the Monza helps to reduce vibrations, improve stability, and enhance the overall clarity and dynamics of vinyl playback. Whether you’re listening at home or in a professional studio, the Monza LP Stabilizer provides an easy and effective way to optimize the performance of your turntable and enjoy your records at their very best.

Pure Transmission Technology for Your Valued Vinyl
FEATURES
La Grande Épreuve
Grand Prix racing‘s single focus: Testing the absolute limits of technology and performance for that final 10th of a second that makes the difference between victory and defeat. Furutech builds each and every cable in their line the same way; optimized engineering solutions applied to advanced materials and processes, backed by utterly meticulous build quality.
The beautifully finished precision machined nonmagnetic stainless steel base and top modules are girdled by a layer of damping carbon fiber. The bottom surface is covered with 16 concentric cushioning grooves made of an extremely effective Piezo Electric damping material.
The Piezo Effect and Your Valued LPs
Furutech’s Pure Transmission Piezo Ceramic Carbon series products–like the Innovations award-winning
FI-50 connector series–feature a remarkable “active system” construction. We create a unique material with two “active” materials: Nano-sized ceramic particles and powdered carbon. Only nano-sized ceramic particles effectively couples with carbon powder for the piezo effect to occur.
Nylon and fiberglass are incorporated into the construction as well, and the whole forms an extremely effective mechanically and electrically damped material. That’s not a misprint; it’s electrically damped as well.
Piezoelectric effects are the key. Furutech’s employs these nano-sized polycrystalline ferroelectric ceramic particles exhibiting electro-generative properties (mechanical pressure creates an electrical charge) with carbon powder that exhibits thermal-conductive characteristics that interacts with the electrically
charged ferro-ceramic particles converting their energy into heat that’s conducted away and released from the surface of the material and in doing so making the connection between electrical and mechanical oscillation. The mechanical and electrical damping effects occur while “interconverting” thermal, mechanical, and electrical energy acting as the perfect weighted surface for your LPs.
That’s how far Furutech goes to achieve Pure Transmission LP playback, and the Monza.
